I recently installed Synology Drive Client on my Mac in order to sync files. When I first installed it, it worked as expected, but since then it has stopped working - if I open it on my Mac, nothing happens. I have tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, but it still doesn't work.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Bigsur? What's that? I'm still on El Capitan.
Big Sur is macOS 11, but I guess you know what it is since you say you're running Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan. That's what my old iMac 2007 stopped at.

I've not experienced Drive agent stopping on Mac. How are you accessing the NAS from Drive agent? IP address, domain name, or QuickConnect.

I also have this problem on 10.11. Tried a variety of stuff including earlier version of drive client and reinstall/reboot etc. No luck... Will see if updating to a newer version of mac-os works (Catalina, not Big Sur)

I'm running Mojave* and Catalina on two Macs to the same Drive account. I use it in preference to Dropbox's RAM-hungry agent: I sync Dropbox data using Drive agent/server and Cloud Sync.

I've got the Drive agent connecting using a server address of mydrive.mydomain.com which is also covered by a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate.

*need it for a few occasional 32-bit apps that I can't be bother to dual boot the Mac from a slim-build Mojave SSD and use a main boot of Catalina for everyday stuff. Nothing in a Big Sur test has made me want to jump to it, yet.
