Hello,

I have an odd one here today. A DS1815+ come to repair for blinking blue light. It looks like simple 100ohm fix isnt it? I thought the same as there was no resistor installed. So i did the usual fix application and nicely cleaned everything and closed up.

Yes you guessed right it didnt boot still blue flashing. Battery replaced brand new, transistor fix applied, power supply checked, rams replaced and all sort of other checks...

I then decided to connect it to uart putty to have readings if it will show any.

So i got reading at the end and it looks like it should countdown from 2 to 0 and then complete the boot. It does not countdown but if i interrupt with CTRL C and then select the partition to boot it perfectly boots and does its job completely fine. If restarted it stucks again in the same spot.

What could be the solution please and thank you

Like the eDOM crashed on it. The boot flash drive. The countdon comes from there.
Syno1 is a basic do nothing fail safe. Syno2 is the main boot sector on the eDOM.
