Never tried it. I guess you are thinking about downloading the updaters to a mobile device and then using DS finder to use the desktop view to access Package Center. The best thing would be to try it.

In DS Finder, under package center, then update tab at bottom; you just need to click update next to the packages that have updates. I just did this for AV for my RS820+

My NAS didn't have any alerts for these updates, so a manual update was the option. This is often the case.

Seems like it's a staged rolling update. My RS820+ had the alert for the update, but my DS718+ did not have it pushed yet.

Yes! You can update system via DS FINDER! Email received from 718+, but both 720+’s showed & installed Update as well. Thank You

Just got the update notification for/from the ds718+ now and updated via ds finder; 2 for 2.
