How come DSM is not affected by CVE-2022-43634? As far as I know, DSM used Netatalk 3.1.x and all current Netatalk 3.1.x should be affected.

Dunno. But Netatalk is the AFP service and Apple has switched to SMB for file sharing. I've switched off AFP on my NAS and haven't used it for a long time.
