Synology Surveillance Station - Deepstack

Anybody else successful done this?

I have deepstack-ai running on a container on my DS920+. I am still working on the ai-tool piece to broker between Surveillance Station and Deepstack.

One challenge I foresee is that Synology puts triggered snapshots in separate folders based on camera name but all the guides I've read show Deepstack monitoring one folder.

End goal is to let Deepstack determine whether there is notable motion like a person and then use MQTT to notify HA.

How do you get SS to create a snapshot on motion detection, I cannot seem to find a way.

Discovered how to create the snapshots using action rules. SS puts them all in the same folder under the main Surveillance folder and is called @Snapshot. AI Tool picks them up correctly and Deepstack reports back correctly on what it finds. You can then get AI tool to send your MQTT
