Synology's hatred of the alphabet

Why are the apps in neither the apps menu (in the start menu equivalent) nor the Package Centre [Installed] listed alphabetically with no option to do so?

Drives me bonkers.

The main menu has packages listed in date added order (oldest first), or it seems to me. I agree that it would be good to have them like that as I spend time doing it.

For Package Center it makes some sense to have the latest updated at the top of the list. This is how I use it.

Listing stuff alphabetically seems pretty obvious to me. I never have folders, etc in most recently created/accessed/modified order - always alpha.
