Anecdotal evidence from the "Community" indicates that updating DSM to 6.2.3 will kill DDSM, as Docker will require DDSM at 6.2.3.

Y'all have been warned.
This was a long time coming. DDSM is EOL and that was even discussed last Autum. VDSM or nothing. 2 bad really but I get it. VDSM licenses are more expensive and no need to develop and support 2 methods of virtual DSM.

Anyway as Rusty already mentioned, we know from this same above mentioned Synology Community post that DDSM is EOL. It's just a matter of time. Any day it runs, count it as a lucky day.
