Transdrone setup for Download station help

I've never heard of Transdrone.

But can you maybe share us some more details so there is a bit more chance for us to help you?
How does your setup and environment look like?
Are you getting any errors when trying to install transdrone, or an error in the config?
Does your download station in any case work fine when using a browser from a PC/Mac?

OK. So this has caught my eye:

This looks like a connection profile you've setup in the app to connect to your NAS. This raises my following questions/concerns:

- When you create a connection profile, and you enter the credentials for the connection it will be displayed like this? http://<username>@<hostname/ip>:<port>
- If so, I don't think you've used the correct username. By default, Synology has an admin account named Admin, not Administrator. While saying this, you should never use the Admin account. Create a seperate account for yourself, add it to the administrators group and disable the builtin Admin account. This is much safer to help protect your NAS from attackers.
- This connection settings looks like it will end up in your DSM desktop, not necessarily the Download Station. For a direct connection to Download Station (what I think this app requires), you can set a separate port for your Download Station in Settings -> Application Portal -> Application . Set a port for Download station, then point your app to that port.

See if this works.

@Shadow

I have disabled the built in admin account a long time ago. The Administrator account was created by me and assigned administrator privileges.

I have now setup port 8000 for DS.

Still getting access denied.

I am using DSM 7 beta

@Shadow

Yes. I can access via browser. See screenshot.

I realise administrator account makes it less safe. I'll remedy that in the future but right now I'm more concerned about this access issue on transdrone 😔

Perhaps you should contact Transdrone support and ask if it's compatible with Synology Download Station on DSM7. It's a good chance they have to update their app for this as DSM7 beta has only been released very recently.

Yeah. That maybe the reason.

Will send them an email
