Hello,
I was asking myself what's better. Running TVHeadend with a Sundtek DVB-S2 tuner in a Docker container on the DS218+ or run the SynoCommunity package.
Which one makes more sense?

I'd recommend to install it on the host directly. That's easiest. The sundtek tv tuner drivers were packaged for the host and are easy to install.

It will work just fine as long as you don’t edit it via UI. Simple start/stop, auto restart will work.
