Unable to Log In to VPN

Unable to Log In to VPN

Things to try…
  • Try connecting direct to the OpenVPN server from the LAN. You may have to edit the ovpn file to set the server IP as destination. Depends on if you changed the default file to only permit the specific destination
    • If this fails then there’s a NASissue
  • If your router does local loopback for your Internet server name then this could test that the router is handling and routing the traffic. Connect to the OpenVPN server using the Internet name but from a LAN client.
Next is to look at connectivity from the Internet.

Does the router need/have an OpenVPN pass-thru?
