DS finder app is ok, useful, I like the notifications, but it's not useable for any deeper configurations. You can't see DSM in it on mobile, because it's not responsive, even if you set to shoe desktop mode.

You then use the email address that is specific for your account and add it into Control Panel > Notification > Push Service
In those rare occasions that I might need that, I just load up desktop version of DSM and reset it like that, or VPN back and use a Terminal app on my phone to SSH into NAS and run theWell, DS finder has a useful option of restarting a NAS too.

I use this too. I like that you can send SMS over desktop. But Pushover does not support this.I've always used Pushbullet to move phone notifications to my laptop, but I never thought about having notifications come to my phone.
