Dear all,

I am using ABB to backup a physical server in full mode, I'd restored it one time recently because of ransomware.
Now, I think it will be better when backup it to cloud. So can I do this?

what exactly is the question, do you want to backup te server to the cloud?
Or do you want to copy/sync the abb backup to the cloud?
How many TB are we talking about?

Yes, I want to sync abb backup to the cloud. it's about 500GB of the server.

I would advise against syncing 500gb files unless your can sync on full fiber speeds.

So it's not good to sync abb backup to cloud, right?
So what is the best option to backup data from server and follow 3-2-1 formula?
Thank you @EAZ1964

It all depends on your internet connection.
the below calculator gives you an indication, fully saturating your connection.
So best to look in what frequency you are taking ABB backups and make a plan.
Maybe your 500GB is has a lot of slow moving data, so you might consider to run a separate backup with fast changing data and send that to the cloud. And have another weekly upload for the rest.

Thanks for your reply. But first, is it OK to backup or sync ABB backup to the cloud?

Backup yes, sync may be a problem because of the long time it takes, it will possibly never finish.

Yes, one of my backup jobs did not run that day either. It was fine the next day, though, so I didn't worry.
