VM network access with only one IP?

Is there any way of getting network access for a VM run in DSM if the host only has one IP and cannot get any other IP (network DHCP server is MAC-address restricted)?
 
I guess I could set the VM's MAC address to the same as the NAS to get, but that would probably mess things up a lot.

Putting a NAT firewall in front of it could work also, but I'd rather not do that in this case. Too bad it can't be done natively!
