VM network access with only one IP?

Is there any way of getting network access for a VM run in DSM if the host only has one IP and cannot get any other IP (network DHCP server is MAC-address restricted)?

I can't see how it would be done within VMM.

Have you looked at a NAT firewall in front of the NAS? If you must be using the NAS's MAC for DHCP assignment the the firewall would have to support MAC spoofing on the WAN interface.

I guess I could set the VM's MAC address to the same as the NAS to get, but that would probably mess things up a lot.

Putting a NAT firewall in front of it could work also, but I'd rather not do that in this case. Too bad it can't be done natively!
