Hello,

I've got some error message: volume1 hdd I/O error, and there are several bad sector in hdd.

I'd like to change the current bad, 4TB HDD to a new 6TB HDD, but I think the Synology OS is on volume 1, isn't it? So how can I swap the volume1 hdd to keep the other 3 HDDs working ?

How is your volume configured in terms of HDDs in the NAS? Are all the drives part of that same volume? Show how the volume is configured regarding drives using the Storage Manager and let's take it from there.

OS is on all drives. What type of volume is the 4 TB? Is it standalone? SHR? Other?

If you " really don't want to lose all that data": is there no backup? Any disk will fail one day.
