We have just created our 1st file share backup job.
We have been struggling with error VSS not supported.
File shared is located on Windows server 2019.
We have installed vss file share and agent on server. We have reconfigured vss agent service to start automatically (allthough it shows as automatic&triggered). We have started the fssagent service and ran backup job. It runs ok, but every next backup scheduler it fails.
We see that fssagent service is in stopped state, and if we manually start it, the backup is sucessfull but then on next attempt it fails again (because fssagent service is not running). Has anyone else had this issue? How did you resolve it guys?
