Ok. I get the feeling that it's like choosing ext4 or btrfs (but some DSM packages need btrfs so not much of a choice). Though the conclusion was to choose Red Plus, did we see evidence to make that leap?

TBH this WD Red / Red Plus situation was the reason I switched to Seagate Ironwolf for the new NAS.
