14.75” of rain.
No internet no phones
Multiple fibers cut up to 100 miles away.
Lost power for a day but up now.
No reason to power up anything but router.
Love our g red netator and UPS’s!
Satelite TV is a godsend! DTV.
House & lot ok minimal erosion. Being halfway up a mountain facing SE a blessing in disguise. We are in a sweet spot.

Higher up and in Valley not so lucky. Not at all. It’s worse than news folks are reporting.

Leaving this location. See you all in a week maybe. ??

Asheville is isolated,nearly washed away.
I 40 west of us closed till end of 2025 we hear.
Internet dead, accessing it via cellphone for first time since last Thursday.
NAS’s shut off as so are computers. Only modem, routers, switches left on.
I’m so happy we built halfway up on SE Side of mountain!
Hundreds of feet above floodwaters, below high winds, shielded by mountain.
Minor erosion, repaired yesterday.
Days from turning things on..
