Hi all!

Since the beginning of 2019 a Synology fan.
Always had a NoName home brewed NAS and just bought my first Syno.
At the moment owning a DS218J just to start with and just to keep it simple.
For now only automagically syncing all kind of files from our phones/laptops to the NAS.
Home Web server with a website for my Home Automation system projected on several touchscreens at home to control lights and such.
My main IT experience and hobby is HomeAutomation based on Raspberry Pi systems.
At the moment running 2 RPi's for Domoticz (HA) and PiHole/PiVPN

I hope this community will grow.
So we all can benefit of it.
For me i'm just a reader (unfortunately) due to my lack of DSM experience but will ask and help where i can

Tnx and welcome! The idea behind the forum is what it was before on the old one, a proper discussion platform to help new and old user with any problem and question that they may have. Regardless of your experties of DSM world each member here is a valuable asset.
