what about this setting "Enanche compatibility between Wi-Fi system and managed switch"?

As I’m sure there will be people who will answer you on the matter, it would be a good idea to consolidate your router questions (if they are general and not package specific) in a single thread. Also asking a question almost using a title is not really helping you or anyone else. Invest some time in making a logical thread with multiple questions. This is a discussion board not a chat platform (but we do have one if you prefer that chain of thoughts).

I thought it was easier to split into points/options for further reference or in case someone searching the forum

Yes in most cases that would be better, but search on this platform is really good, so it won't be a problem.
 
Seems to be it’s a kind of try from Synology to be managed by another instance in LAN architecture (managed switch), maybe for WiFi AP remote setup, but can’t imagine how.
