I have two WD20EFXR drives with similar test results. They were manufactured in 2015. Looks to me like they still have 75% of their power on life expectancy left. Would you use them in a new NAS? I had two others that failed extended test (so I'm ditching them) but these seem to have passed fine.

I doubt you'll find complete consensus here, but I would unhesitatingly use these in a RAID... after that's why we have RAID... spin til you drop.

And, of course, we know that RAID ≠ Back Up... so we will have a 3-2-1 back up in view for important files.

if you have purchased boxed retail drives, there should be no reason to have to test them out of the box.
