In light of the upheaval caused by Synology’s unexpected announcement that certain NAS models would require Synology-branded hard drives — a move that sparked widespread confusion, frustration, and backlash across enthusiast and professional communities — we should reaffirm our commitment to supporting our fellow Synology users, while providing constructive feedback to Synology corporate leaders.
