4k Native HDDs vs Synology

so technical gobblygook aside - what is the benefit to a 4kn drive vs legacy in a Synology disk array?
 
Beyond that already mentioned?

For me the extra resilience. Those that seek the slightly higher performance should just go and build an SSD volume.
