I successfully compiled the following ZFS-Packages (Apollolake/Geminilake) on my NAS:
zfs-x86_64-2.2.5-DS918+-7.2.spk (installed and functional)
zfs-x86_64-2.2.5-DS918+-7.3.spk
zfs-x86_64-2.2.5-DS920+-7.2.spk (installed and functional)
zfs-x86_64-2.2.5-DS920+-7.3.spk

A newer version of ZFS on DSM will only become feasible once Synology provides Linux Kernel 4.18 or higher.

zfs runs well now on my 920+ geminilake. It is a mount-bind "tank" mapped to a volume1 share.
