DS1823xs+ Replacement

Is there any news about availability of the next 8-bay desktop 'xs+' NAS?

Presently, by the end of this year, there will be none. If and when it will arrive I still have no info.

Thanks for the insight. That's enough information to guide our planning/budgeting process. Would it be reasonably safe to assume it will be available by mid-year 2026?

There was some debate about going with the DS1823xs+ now; but it seems wise to wait for the 3-years newer model since we're looking for a 5-year or longer lifetime in our environment.

I really can't say. It is hard to get credible product info that "far" ahead, but considering new RS models are planned for Q1 my gut feeling is that we might get some +/XS+ models as well in this next cycle, just not sure when.
