For some reason I'm having trouble adding NAS's to CMS. We have three NAS's that are connected properly via their local LAN IP address.
Trying to add a NAS that we are connected to via IPsec Host-to-Host IPSec. Via SSL we are able to ping the remote NAS without successfully.
When I try to add via Add / Add existing servers / Add a server by entering its IP address... / Use IP address or FQDN / Server Name: i.e. 192.168.1.20 / Port: DSM port (HTTPS) i.e. 7111, HTTPS checkmarked / Username (that is in the administrators User Groups) and Password. Initially says Loading..., then says Joining. When I expand the server I can see the NAS Serial number which indicates to me that it is communicating with the NAS, it also says Data temporarily unavailable... It continues to say Joining for an extended period of time. I think that it eventually will say "Cannot be added to the CMS".
I have had a similar issue adding NAS's via the QuickConnect ID. The scenario is just like that mentioned above.
Firewalls on DSM on both ends are off for now. When I go to the Control Panel and search for CMS on any to be added to CMS NAS, I find nothing making me think that the NAS is not already joined to another CMS host. Any ideas or suggestions concerning fixing the issue. Thanks!
