DSM 7.2 SS and DS CAM WITH 8K cameras?
In the next year or so, 8K security cameras will become more prevalent. We have one location, presently a 2K camera where an 8K camera’s increased resolution would benefit the system, and skip 4K altogether. Our present system has 13 cameras: 5x 4K, and 8x 2K. DSM 7.2 For those of you with 7.2 and H265 "Only" cameras..... Try This!
I posted this at Synology's site... a month or more ago... I post it here too.... I had set all cameras to H265 in SS before 7.2... Where H265 support was removed....
