Been a couple years since I examined drives.... for age..... The monthly tests have always reported fine, and I have ignored them because of that, stating "Ignorance is Bliss"..
All are SHR.
Today: Checked their age.... 2 main NAS's have same HDD in each, and are both 5+ years old... Experimental on SSD's and are approaching 3 years old... History of SMART & Ironwolf tests all good. With the recent Week Plus shutdown here with Generator repair.... (No oil leak when examined after latest weekly test run) Was concerned about Power Supply's and drive's not liking the power being removed for a week.... Today: Just to be Anal, did a manual Smart test on each.... Drives & Supplies are still report fine....
