Hello
I'm new to this forum... I'm just a regular/basic user, without deep networking knowledge (but inclined to learn).
I already searched in the forum but couldn't find an answer yet.
I'm running my home LAN on an RT6600ax, with the latest firmware release (June 2026). Quite happy with it.
My ISP supports 1500, and warned me I was using a sub-optimal config. I thus cannot enjoy the full speed because of fragmentation.
Apparently, I cannot set a value above 1492 in the MTU/MRU settings (PPoE).
Since the router is now reaching EOL, I doubt Synology will want to implement the feature.
--> Is there a way to bypass the UI and set MTU/MRU on the WAN interface directly from a command line?
Many thanks in advance,
Rodolphe
