I have a weird issue that has come up that only affects the iPhone. When I try to log into DSFinder or any other app it comes up with a 'This connection is not secure' warning. Which is fine and I understand why that is. However, when I select continue it comes up with a '400 Bad Request' The plain HTTP request was sent to HTTPS port.

However, when inputting my ip address I selected https and the correct port number for that ip connection (i.e 192.168.1.2:5001 I have changed the default port to something else), which I set in DSM. Inside DSM I have the option to redirect http to https enabled. Like I said, it only happens on my iPhone as access works on my Mac and iPad Pro and iPad mini. Grateful for any thoughts.

Update - I just spent some time comparing all my Safari settings between my iPhone and iPad. Somehow an update must have turned on 'Not Secure Warning'. After disabling this the login works as normal.

I have the same problem. Is there any solution to it? (DSfinder 3.5.11), DSM 7.3.2-86009 Update 4.
Thanks!

Not seen that here yet: iPhone 15 & 17 pro max, current 26 os, way old iPad, same DSM on 3x NAS: DS CAM, DS FILE, DS FINDER, DS ROUTER.

Dear Jan,
thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately I do not quite understand what you want to tell me.
I've been using the DS Finder on iPhone 13 since more than 2 years, Fritz!Box 7590, MacBook Air M2, successfully.
It fails since yesterday. All OSs and iOS are with latest updates.
Automatic redirection of Http to Https is check marked in ´login portal´ on DSM 7.3.2-86009 Update 4. All certificates are valid.
I restarted the NAS, on the iPhone deleted the DS Finder with all it´s background files in iCloud and reinstalled (executing connecting to my NAS which is recognized correctly and addressed with the correct URL and Https: This connection is insecure (Translated the German message on the iPhone) which leads as always before since yesterday to the error below):
" 400 Bad Request
The plain HTTP request was sent to HTTPS port

nginx "

Do you have any idea, why the DS Finder fails to connect'?
Many thanks

Kind Regards,
Guenter

Only thing that comes to mind, and I’m just guessing, is: could you have run afoul of the 3 strikes rule? And locked yourself out?
In all honesty, years ago I did that, and it’s how I learned about the 3 Strikes rule!! Prior to that, I didn’t know it existed!
