With summer in full swing, Synology has, for the moment, completed its X25 NAS rollout. Over the past few months, a total of eight new "plus" models have been refreshed, although few significant upgrades have been made.
All models have had their outdated 1GbE LAN interfaces upgraded to 2.5GbE. However, most retain the same specifications as their predecessors, with the exception of a few models.
In addition to these NAS models, which have been effectively restricted to work exclusively with Synology-branded drives, the company is also continuing to update its disk lineup. This includes the "plus" HAT3300 series.
