Whatever became of….

Couple years ago. When video station & H265 went by the wayside, there was a post to “Stand By” for an update: “Synology has heard us!”

And a few months ago somewhat the same post about 3rd party drives also!

So I did: Stand By! I’ve seen the hack posts about work arounds for drives and Intel transcoding. Never anything on Video station or H265. Were the hacks it? I never did video station but had just switched over to H265 before the lockout & change back to H264. so I knew H265 worked flawlessly and saved disc space.

Did I miss those answers?

Have they (Synology) not said, and will they not do it?

That sounds like what they did..... I'm just asking if others feel same way........ ??

I installed DaveR007 hack to reinstall Videostation some time ago and it continues to work fine - even after DSM updates, thanks again DaveR007
