Question Booksonic on Docker | Android client ?

I've chapterized MP3s, but it has not been recognized. M4Bs don't play well with Booksonic. My next book, I've split by chapter (approx 90 minutes), only to make things less frustrating.

An all-new version (new Docker image via linuxserver.io) "Booksonic Air", now forked from on Airsonic) is recently available.

Now its podcast feature works! Goodbye Airsonic.

Even though this video announcement, shows how to set up a virtual cloud connection, the Docker instructions are easily applied to the NAS. Enjoy!

Booksonic Postmortem

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to redirect attention to a new, and stable, audio book application.

For all practical purposes Booksonic is dead. Bugs remain, and developer support is nearly nonexistent.

The good news is that audiobookshelf is an excellent audiobook docker application, with decent, and free, Android and AppStore apps.

I encourage anyone seeking to self-host audio books, to spin up a container and checkout audiobookshelf.
