MR2200AC Solid Blue Light

Hello Everyone,

I have multiple MR2200AC setup so as 1 MR2200AC works as the main router and the others as a mesh router behind the main router.

They are all connected through LAN, via a non - managed switch.

One of the MR2200AC gave an disconnected error and when trying multiple times, the router is not starting. I have tried to hard reset multiple times but the blue light remains solid with it blinking once every 30 secs (staying off for 1-2 secs).

Can someone help me solve the issue?

Have you checked what the LED is indicating?

Have you tried adding the router to the mesh again, since the reset has probably done a factory restore.

I did have a TRT2600ac die of old age. Initially the eMMC memory was overused and some usage of SRM portal would casue it to reboot. So I replaced it with a RT6600ax. More recently I tried to boot up the RT2600ac but it only did it a few times but mostly didn't get passed the boot up process. Don't recall the LEDs, but probably orange flashing IIRC.

With the back haul using an unmanaged switch, I assume you aren't using the guest or other private networks? An unmanaged switch doesn't play well with having multiple VLANs crossing it.
