DS audio Synofi – native iOS music player for Audio Station (QuickConnect)

Hi all – long-time lurker, first dev post.

I just released Synofi on the App Store. It's a native SwiftUI iPhone player for Audio Station, using QuickConnect for connection.
Built it because DS Audio hadn't gotten meaningful love in years and I wanted something that felt like a 2026 iOS app.

Highlights:

• QuickConnect-first auth, no manual relay juggling
• Full queue, shuffle, repeat, lock-screen and CarPlay-ready remote controls
• Offline cache and configurable size
• MP3 native, FLAC/AAC/M4A/WAV/OGG/AIF via server transcoding
• Handles network handoffs gracefully (auto-reconnect with backoff, session recovery)

I’m a solo developer. Firstly, I coded a raw version of Synofi as a proof of concept.
The app is based on a reverse-engineered Audiostation API, and pure Swift UI.
The result was surprisingly good for a personal project. Synofi replaced not only DS Audio clients, but also Spotify and YouTube Music. My friends and family used the app for a couple of months, after their feedback I decided to polish Synofi and release for a public. I hope you’ll enjoy it.
