How does 7.4 affect legacy NAS’s (20 and older) ??? What features apply to these?
I usually have to read things multiple times to understand fully how updates apply to me and my hardware. 7.4 is making this harder to do.. 7.4 Seems to have multiple tiers of features. Seen and viewed multiple videos on features and documentation that does Not Apply to my legacy NAS...- Jan Janowski

Synology Assistant does not see old DS209+II
In the process of starting up new DS923+. I have installed the newest Synology Assistant on a Windows 10 PC and it sees the new DS923+ fine, but the Assistant does NOT see my old DS209+II which is also on the same network. Is this because my DS209 is so old that it simply not recognized...- sparkyguy3809
