Any way to "trick" Video Stations database from adding moves to "RECENTLY ADDED"..?

So I have over a 1500 movies in a movie folder over several years. In the beginning I was just downloading the MKVs and slapping them on my NAS, so all the files are 10GB or larger, now that I'm comfortable encoding with handbrake I want to start running movies through it to reduce the space used, but when I re-encode and drop in the folder they will show up under the RECENTLY ADDED section. Anyone know a "Trick" to prevent that? I tried an attribute changer and changed the creation/modified dates, but seems the database goes by when you drop the file in the indexable folder. Not the END of the world, but would be cool to control.

There's no good way to do..., but you can try this if updating the database is undesirable:

Stop Video Station
Disable NAS time sync and set your time back 1+ years
Restart Video Station
Add content
Rescan the Video Station library to absorb the "new" media
Stop Video Station
Reset system time to correct time/sync
Restart Video Station
Done
