I tried ABB, but ABB agent doesn't work with current systems :/ (I use Ubuntu 25.04 with BTRFS)
after reading a bit, I can't use ABB (doesn't support my kernel and doesn't support BTRFS !! 😮 )

What are the other options? how do you do it ? I want to store a snapshot / bare metal copy, so if anything goes wrong (notebook or drive dies), I can quickly restore it (on the same or new drive).
maybe Timeshift snapshots ?

(backing up /home dir is a different task)
