ISSUE
Hyper Backup > Select Restoration Task > Select Location > Enter Password > ERROR
"Unable to perform this action, possibly because the network connection is unstable or the system is busy. Please try again later."
Note: If password is incorrect, the error indicates password issue. Password is accurate and accepted.
QUESTION
In addition to getting past this error, is there a way to set up Synology for a 'non-destructive' delete like Mac, so a quick trigger finger doesn't destroy life?
BACKGROUND
Think there is a finder bug in MacOS (Sequoia 15.5). Issue is repeatable, though not 100% repeatable.
Two finder windows open. Left window with a MacOS folder showing, right window with a Synology folder showing.
Both windows show as in focus, regardless of which window is selected (ie using mouse to click window.) Cmd-delete deletes the folder from Synology instead of Mac even though steps were taken to ensure the Mac window was focus and active. Yes, a warning showed by I clicked proceed too quickly w/o realizing the window was a Synology 'can not be undone' message.
