Curious if anyone is experiencing random SMB disconnects of mounted volumes with macOS 26.2? Wondering if there is something with my configuration causing it.

NAS: Synology RS1221+ with DSM 7.3.2-86009; SMB Service 4.15.13-3045 -- set for Max SMB as SMB3, Mini SMB2 and Large MTU
Transport encryption an dserver signing are client defined
Opportunistic locking enabled
SMB2 file leasing and SMB3 directory leasing enabled (apply to user home folders only)
SMB durable handles enabled

Mac: Mac Studio M4 Max running macOS 26.2 with /etc/nsmb.conf set as
[default]
signing_required=yes

Network: Ubiquiti Aggregation XG -- NAS connected via SFP28; Mac connected via UACC-CM-RJ45-MG connector to Mac's built-in 10G NIC
Not noticing other connectivity issues except the NAS SMB mount going offline sporadically

I am having the same problem with an Asustor AS6706T during high traffic copies. It seems to be the network connection dropping on the NAS. Not sure if it is related to macOS 26.2 which is my OS currently because my copies were from a Windows computer. I disabled opportunistic locking and did several massive copies and it seems to POSSIBLY be working now. I am in the process of transitioning back to my Synology DS920+ but now that I see the issue is possibly with Synology too not sure which way to go. What router are you using? I am using a Asus RT-AX86U Pro.

I ended up purchasing AutoMounter from the macOS App Store. Wish I had purchased it sooner. Automounts SMBs upon boot (without opening a Finder window), automounts on network changes, etc. It even mounts the SMB share again if you switch from ethernet to Wi-Fi or vice versa.
