DSM 7.2 [SOLVED] ABB restore to vm not proposed

I have a Synology DS923+ with DSM 7.3.2-86009 u3.

Overall all is working fine but I have an issue to restore a ABB backuped machine to a VM - I simply don't have the option proposed to me in the restore wizsrd.

The Synology is itself hosting a small VM in VMM (works fine) and is connected to a Hyper-V host.

I was under the impression that there was a feature to restore directly to a VM. Any idea ?

Restore back to what hypervisor? VMM or Hyper-V?

In any event it should be avaliable for each VM via Active Backup for Business > Virtual Machine > Task List. Then, choose restore an the wizard should start offering the destinations.

I just found out that the option is only available if the machine is "server" type in ABB - not for "plain" workstations.

Switching it allowed me to restore to VMM

Was just about to write this as well! "Classic" issue for most. Glad it was that simple.
