Unable to update to DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 7

I have updated my DS215j to DSM 7.0.1-42218 Update 6. It now notifies me that security issues have been found and that it should update to DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 7. However, when I try, it fails. Does anyone have the same issue?

I also can't find any mention of DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 7 on this forum.

The updater files are here is you need to download the one for your DS215j. I already did this for my old DS215j. The release notes state it is the promised update to fix the recent PWN2OWN 2024 vulnerabilities that were more quickly fixed for DSM 7.2.2.

FYI my list of latest OS and package versions is automated, so it only finds the very latest version (i.e. first item at the top of the page). For DSM that means v7.2.2, at the moment. For older DSM v72.1, v7.1.1, and v6 they appear further down the list. There's no ability to organise by date on the archive website, more's the pity.

The automatic updates didn't work for me. When I tried to update through the UI I got a popup asking if I was sure as certain things would be affected. After that the update worked fine.
