RT2600ac Router Firewall question.... (Doesn't make sense)

Between my unfamiliarity, the need for system to be Online 24/7/365…. And potential for editing 200+ TP Rules… just to begin the test, and no one nearby to pump for answers in case I got stuck…… which history shows I do often….
I chose the easy way out (not to…) and built improvements on that, where I could.
