THIS IS IN SRM 1.3.2-2
At top of Router Firewall Rules is a DENY ALL(or Internet) to IP of NAS, and another Deny ALL(or Internet) from IP of NAS These receive NO HITS
BUT
Directly after that is a rule to ALLOW rule from that same NAS IP to ALL( or Internet).... THIS RULE GETS HITS ...
I'm finding that if I have a firewall rule: TCP/IP ALLOW, Source IP of Router, to ALL destinations....
and then do a Security Advisor Scan, where it first gets a new Update that it installs before doing it's scan.... that completes successfully: (Good)
and then I go back into Firewall.... I see...
Does anyone remember the thread back in 7.3.1-14 where a new firewall was added by SRM during an update? Did it on one of my 3x 2600's....
I asked support about it, seeing that I never saw any HITS on it... and they said it was a good rule and leave it just above the DENY ALL Rule, which I...
No VLAN here, due to the amount of TP self created Rules created YEARS AGO.... These All would Need IP editing if a VLAN was used)...A year or so ago (Probably longer), I added a bunch of firewall rules to break out the "HITS" so more explicitly explain where the "Hits" are coming from....

With time server fixed(MyBad!)…..
I am finding no issues with -14, but have not installed it but on one 2600 at Supports request, but I (and Support during time server debacle) didn’t have further info on network fix.
I also noticed -14 adds a new firewall rule, but it isn’t covered in release...
We are looking into fixing up a firewall rule to ensure cameras traffic to and from the nas always gets the best connection through a QoS firewall rule.
Not a big firewall or network guy here so am i correct in assuming that filtering RTSP traffic should be enough?
With DSM, can you specify multiple subnets for a firewall rule or do I need to create a rule for each VLAN?
I have the following subnets: 10.0.1.0/24 through 10.0.10.0/24 with 10.0.20.0/24 as well.
I tried entering 10.0.0.0 with subnet 255.0.0.0, which didn't include all of the 10.x subnets...
