I realised now I cant access/find my 1821+ though ds assistant nowadays... Although I disabled firewalls etc...
Any ideas??
If typing the url from browser I can access it..
also finds.synology.com works ok

Im going to switch from a DS920+ to a DS1821+ because im running out of storage and don't want to replace all the drives with bigger ones,.
So i'm thinking to move the drives to the 1821+ and add some more drives later on to expand the volume.
I have some shared folders that is encrypted...
Hello there guys... its the second time I try corsair vengeance modules and I have problem... (2x32GB) tried 3200Mhz and now 2666Mhz but it seems it doesnt work...

Just before I wasnt able to locate my nas... The green status light was flashing... After that I made a hard reset and now I am able to find the NAS and login.
Thing is the Status light is keep flashing... is this normal or it should be steady green?

So, I didn't listen and jumped on the DSM 7 bandwagon, but I was afforded the opportunity to replace my DSM 1621+ which is on DSM 7 with an 1821+ that I have yet to spin up.
