DSM Update Version: 7.4-90075

In the recent past, the LTS versions have been those that became the last versions to support a tranche of NAS models. Though the policy notes for DSM 7.1 (LTS) that the LTS status only applies to certain NA models, i.e. those that cannot be upgraded passed this major version. I assume that this LTS status won't be applied to models that are supported by DSM 7.4.

I hadn't asked that. Hopefully if I see others with 18 & 20 OK with 7.4, upgrading mine to 7.4 in 2028, in effect, extends EOL of those Legacy units, past 2028...

Just trying to determine a path to proceed.. The memory of my 215J slowing to a crawl from 6.2 Updates is still too vividly remembered, and I don't want to repeat that mistake on 3x NAS instead of 1!

I guess you forgot or didnt experience DSM 4 to DSM 5 jump. Now that was an elephant for those J models.

I don't think you will need to worry about that scenario happening with your current HW as those are way better than any J model.

I think I joined 215J in Late 5... HW: Yes! that's why I purchased + models... I keep referring to the '215J experience' It was just too vivid for me... I'm watching for your 7.4 918+ posts for my 718+!
