I think this is the correct forum, but if it needs to be moved that's fine.
I've got Drive working well, including syncing to several users PC with the desktop client. No issues there. What I am running into is maybe a granularity issue.
I have a team folder; lets say "Folder 1" that is restricted to only a few users. There is however some data that needs to be interacted with by restricted users. I have the appropriate sub-folders shared and that works fine, the users can access via the web or the drive app in the "Shared with me" section, but nothing that I haven't explicitly shared.
The issue is one of the items that needs to be accessed is a spreadsheet and currently it looks like the only way is to have users download it, make changes and upload it, which needless to say is not ideal.
It looks like I can only sync Team folders (Root folders) using the drive client but I am hoping there is a way to be able to sync the shared sub-folders individually without having to just make a new Team/Root folder.
Hopefully this makes sense! Any info is appreciated.
Thanks.
