So, I would like to sync some folders of my internal hard drive with my DS218play. Since synology does not propose this (to my surprise), I found ViceVersa Software: File Synchronization, File Replication, Windows Backup Software which works like a charm but only in the direction internal HD ->...
Choosing the Best Hard Drives for your NAS
For those of you that have decided to buy a NAS server for Home or business, choosing the right hard drive media to put inside can be incredibly difficult. NAS drives, much like the knives, spoons and forks in your cutlery drawer are all designed to be...

Back when I first got the NAS I thought I saw an article on running phpBB on a Synology NAS. I've now decided I know enough to give it a go. However I've scoured the internet and can't find any article on it at all. Was I seeing things or could such a thing be possible?
Thoughts folks?
Hello,
Does anyone else run a NAS system with their macbook to store their photos? I want to keep using the macbooks Photo application but stire my files on a server.
Is there anyway to do this?
Thanks
I decided to test out Firefox on the Mac instead of my usual Brave browser. All appears to be good except I can't acess the logon page for the NAS.
All I see if a blank page, no logon screen at all.
I've turned off Enhanced tracking protection in the browser, but still no go.
Any ideas folks?
